MythSource follows the figures of world mythology through their original stories and into modern culture. It separates verified connections from broader catalogue leads, so readers can see what has been checked.
The idea
Each page brings together a figure’s sourced myths, identity and relationships. Verified films, games, books and songs are linked to the particular myths they retell; broader possible appearances remain clearly marked as catalogue leads.
The central rule is simple: a verified claim must be grounded in a source someone opened, never in memory or a plausible guess. When the evidence runs out, the verified account stops. The method page sets out exactly how a page earns its place.
